Meet The Team
Adam Sieren – Owner/Project Manager/Estimator
Adam started his first company, Potential Properties, in 2004. Potential Properties was a real estate investment company, which purchased and sold over 25 homes in the Des Moines area. Adam gained his expertise in residential home building/remodeling while building that company. In 2007 the housing market took a turn for the worse and left Potential Properties with a few houses in inventory. At that point Potential Properties was converted into a property management company and Premier Construction Services was born.
Utilizing all the sub-contractors of Potential Properties, Premier Construction hit the remodeling market running. Specializing in room additions and custom home building, we enjoy working with the client and building their vision.
While not working, Adam enjoys hunting and traveling. During the fall you will find him in a tree somewhere trying to chase trophy whitetails.

Ryan “RD” Robbins – Premier Commercial
Ryan has been in the construction industry for over 15 years. Having worked for large general contractors, Ryan knows what it takes to run a commercial construction company. He is looking to expand Premier Commercial into a large general contracting/construction management firm in the Des Moines area.
When not at work Ryan enjoys spending time with his son and cheering for the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Mike Firkins – Project Manager, Punch out
Mike loves to bring good energy to the job. You will always find him working hard and motivating the crew to keep busy. Mike is a great help to Premier Construction, always there wherever needed. He can install tile, drywall, trim, paint, etc. Always great with the clients, Mike is sure to put a smile on your face.
When not whistling to a tune on the radio, you will find Mike spending time with his fiance.
Eric Sieren – Licensed Plumber
Eric has been plumbing for over 8 years and is the owner of Sieren Plumbing Solutions. He is also Adam’s older brother. Eric started in the business working for his father-in-law’s plumbing company. From there, he joined the Local Plumber’s Union and worked in commercial plumbing for 5 years. After realizing he was not utilizing his full potential, Eric started Sieren Plumbing Solutions in 2007. Being the brother of the owner, he has worked closely with Premier from it’s conception. When you finally pry Eric away from his work, you will find him spending time with his wife and 2 kids.

Reyes Leyva Sr. and Reyes Leyva Jr. (Junior) – Framing/Siding
Talk about a father/son team! These two never cease to amaze with their efficiency and speed at which they work. Having framed houses for over 25 years, Reyes Sr. has taught his oldest son a valuable trade. Junior has been framing since he could first pick up a hammer and now his father has allowed him to be the lead man. These two are a valuable asset to Premier Construction as they are ones building the structures and assuring they pass all state and local codes. Sometimes you may find a framer in training on the job, Reyes’ youngest son. Great guys to work with and very respectable, they are always keeping the client’s needs in mind. When not working, you will find Junior mastering his skills on his accordion and you will find Reyes Sr. taking care of his wife and 5 children.

Sam Hutton – Drywall
Sam has been in the drywall business for 20 years. You can count on Sam to get in and finish the job in a timely manner and he always keeps a clean job site. You will sometimes find his son, Adam on the job giving a helping hand. When not working, Sam enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his family.

Jeff Marley - Licensed Electrician
Jeff has been an electrician for over 10 years and is the owner of Marley Electric. Jeff has been with Premier since the company flipped it’s first house 7 years ago, and he has proved to be one of the company’s best sub-contractors. You can count on Jeff to give you sound electrical layout advise and he is an easy guy to work with. After working with other electrical outfits, he found it more profitable to begin his own company, and Marley Electric was started in 2005. Jeff enjoys working on small electrical equipment and spending time with his kids.

Roger West – Licensed Mechanical
Roger has been an HVAC specialist for over 20 years. He has worked for many different HVAC contractors over the years until finally starting his own company in 2007. Roger installed the furnace in the first house Potential Properties purchased in 2004, and has been working with the company ever since. Although Roger can install any furnace system, he prefers to work with the Goodman brand furnace and air. When not working, Roger enjoys hunting and spending time with family.

Todd Arnold – Finish Trim Carpenter
When it comes to custom trim, Todd takes care of business. Custom built-ins, wainscoting, formal office trim, basic trim – if it is made from wood Todd can build it. Finish work is the most important aesthetic part of the job and we trust in Todd to produce a quality finished product.
When not cutting wood, Todd enjoys riding his motorcycle and spending time with his wife.

Derek Gruss – Concrete
When it comes to concrete, Derek is the man. From foundations to flatwork, there is not much he cannot do with concrete. Having been a foreman for a large foundation contractor for 10 years, he started Gruss Construction in 2005. Derek enjoys music and hunting as well as spending time with his family.

Dave Perdue – Paint/Punch Out
Dave has been been painting for over 20 years and is the company’s disaster restoration specialist. He has been in the construction industry for years and knows what it takes to make the client happy. We can count on Dave to give the woodwork a “factory” like finish and custom match any stain on the job. When not working, Dave enjoys spending time with his son and grand daughter.
Eric Horlyk – Structural Engineer, Advanced Engineering
Premier Construction relies on Advanced Engineering for all our structural needs. When it comes to header sizing, load requirements, beam sizing, etc, Eric is who we count on. His engineering knowledge and timeliness make him a great guy to work with.
